Donations and help needed: Each year the rescue holds fundraising events consisting of raffles, and silent auctions. Our fundraising events occur at Jack Russell Terrier Trials, where hundreds of participants gather to compete and work our terriers. The money raised from the events fund the financial needs of the rescue; spay/neuter surgeries, immunizations, medical care, food and boarding. This year there will be three fundraising events with the first in Gunnison, Colorado May 24 & 25. The second will be in Estes Park, Colorado on Aug.2nd & 3rd . The third in Douglas, WY on Aug. 30 & 31. We are excited about all three events and hope to surpass the $1600 raised last year.

Missy is 5 years young, smooth coat tan and white female. Missy has had a very colorful life and is in need of a forever loving home. RileyAge: Almost 8 Male Jack Russell / Corgi mix Likes: Plays fetch at park, sit on laps, meet new people Dislikes: Toddlers playing rough with him Riley is a great dog that does not do well with smallchildren. He loves to play outside and run around during the day, but then sit on a lap in the evening. He can?t eat table food because of a sensitive stomach, but if he is on a consistent diet of just dog food his stomach does well. Just to be safe, we don?t give him dog treats. He would do best in a home that doesn?t have any children below the age of nine. Riley typically gets along with other dogs, but hasn?t had a tremendous amount of experience with other dogs. Red is a tri color rough coated female. She needs to be re-house trained, she is crate trained. Red does not like cats or female dogs, she is ok with some male dogs and would be ok with kids 10 & up.
